Please note: The profile file of the authors must be in both Persian and English, first the names and then the title as they wish to be published in the quarterly. The author and the name of the author are responsible for observing the order. Otherwise, it will be accepted and printed in whatever order and form it is written, and it cannot be changed in any way.

***To review the articles, the amount of 300 thousand Tomans should be transferred to the account number 40028100107080901 or the card number 5022297000060769 of Pasagard Bank in the name of Qeshm Higher Education Institute and the image of the deposit slip (full details must include name and article code on the slip) only in the quarterly system. Register to be in the reviewing process as soon as possible and the minimum time for reviewing is 3 months. It should be noted that the payment of the arbitration fee is not a confirmation of the article and the acceptance of the article is subject to the approval of the reviewers. In case of approval of the magazine's reviewers and acceptance, after review and approval by the editorial board of the magazine, the article will be published and the printing fee will be paid in coordination with the quarterly office.

***Conditions for initial approval of articles:

The submitted article does not create an obligation for the quarterly and the officials of the quarterly have full authority to accept or reject the article.

1) The article should be written according to the format of the journal (in order to include the titles: Persian Abstract - Introduction - Theoretical Foundations - Scope - Research Findings - Conclusions - Suggestions - References - English Abstract).

 2) All content of the article must be referenced.

 3) All tables, charts, pictures and maps should have a title and source.

 4) The area studied in the article should be fully and comprehensively introduced and applied maps of the area should be used.

 5) Article maps should have a box, scale and guide.

 6) The research method or research of the article should be mentioned in the introduction and should not have a separate title.

7) The article is out of descriptive mode and is scientific-research.

8) The article should have an English abstract and the names of the authors should be included in the English abstract.

9) Refer to the research achievements of the article.

10) Conclusions and scientific and research achievements should be presented in a complete and comprehensive manner and the application of the article in planning should be stated. It should definitely be explained in a few pages.

11) The emphasis of the quarterly is on research articles extracted from the doctoral dissertation.

12) In order to maintain the opinion of all professors, it is not possible to have a maximum of 2 articles from one author in the form of a responsible author, supervisor, consultant or colleague each year.

13) The refereeing receipt should be deposited in the university account of the institute.

14) English sources should be clearly and completely stated.

15) Each source is used to indicate the name of the source in full.

16) The author's commitment that the article is not duplicate that has not been extracted from other sites or magazines is mandatory. Authors are required to copy and complete the text of the letter of commitment and conflict of interest at the end of this section in a Word file and send it with the signature of the responsible author at the time of uploading the article.

 How to write an article:

1- The Journal of Regional Planning, due to its specialization only in topics related to the region, regional planning and development, including the following items, is open to articles:

 Region and regional planning - zoning and regional planning - city and urban development planning - village and rural development planning - urban planning and design of regional spaces - regional design - regional economy - strategic planning and development Regional - Issues of metropolises and urbanization - Ecotourism and cultural behaviors in the region - Rural-urban relations - Typical morphology and typology - Land use - Participation, cooperation and sustainable regional development - Rural-urban migration - Civil and regional development - Social welfare and regional development - Applied geography and regional planning - Climate and regional planning

 2- The article must be the result of research and scientific work of the author (s) and has necessarily led to the production of new science and knowledge. The journal welcomes articles extracted from doctoral dissertations, outstanding dissertations and independent research projects if they comply with the principles and criteria of the scientific research method in the relevant field and have theoretical or methodological innovation.

 3- The magazine is exempted from accepting authored and translated articles for publication.

4-The submitted article should not have been previously published in any domestic or foreign journal or collection of foreign articles. Do not.

 5- The article should be smooth, fluent and grammatically correct and the words should be chosen carefully enough. For example, Arabic words (this) should not be used. Also, the paragraphing of the text of the article must be fully observed and all literary rules (Persian writing ritual) and literary and scientific editing must be observed.

 6- In the Persian text, the Persian equivalent of Latin words should be used as much as possible, and if the Persian equivalent is not expressive enough, the same Latin word can be subtitled by mentioning the number above the equivalent.

7- Articles should be prepared with 13B-Lotus font. Articles should be typed on A4 paper (with a margin of 4 and 4 cm from the top and bottom and 3.5 cm from the right and left). The distances between the lines should be single.

 8- The volume of the article, including the text, figures, tables, maps, sources and Latin abstract, in compliance with the typing standards of the journal, should not exceed 15 pages. (If it exceeds this amount, the publication office will not be responsible for non-publication).

9- The official language of the magazine is Persian and the article is not accepted in English.

 10- Dear authors, articles that have not been prepared in accordance with the journal format will be returned to the author and will not be included in the evaluation process.

 Writing structure of articles:

Articles accepted in the initial stage of approval should be formulated as follows:

1- The structure of the article should be scientifically including the title, Persian and English abstract (350-250 words), keyword, problem statement, main body (theoretical foundations and research background, data, research materials and methods, research findings, Analysis, conclusion) list of sources and appendices.

 2- The title of the article should be concise, short and telling the subject of the article and should be typed with Lotus 16B-font. The name of the author should be mentioned in 12B-Lotus, his scientific or professional title should be mentioned in 11B-Lotus at the bottom of the first page of the article. In articles with more than one author, it is necessary to mention the name of the author responsible for the article on the authors' profile page.

 3- Abstract of Persian articles should be written in Lotus 11B font, English abstract in 12Times New Roman font and all titles in the text should be written in Bold font.

 4- In arranging tables, maps and figures, it is necessary to observe the following points:

A-The information in the tables should not be repeated in the form of figures or diagrams in the article. Number and title should be mentioned at the top of the table. If tables and figures are obtained from other sources, it is mandatory to mention the source below the tables and figures. At the same time, tables, maps, diagrams and figures produced by the author or authors should be referenced to the author or authors. For example (Source: Authors, 1390).

 B- Each column of the table should have its own title and unit, if all the digits in the table have the same unit, the unit can be mentioned in the title of the table.

 C- Additional explanations of the title and text of the table should be provided as subtitles.

 D- The shapes and diagrams of the article must be original and of the desired quality and in color. The original file of the figures (under PDF, Excel, Word) and with a resolution of 600 dpi. Photos must be clear, legible, scaled and of good quality (300 to 500 dpi) in one of the gif formats pdf, jpg, png, tif. The font size, especially for curves, should be chosen so that it is legible for printing after the scale of the shape is reduced.

Main article structure:

Submitted articles should have the following sections:

1- First page: In the identity card page, the full title of the article in Persian and English, the name and surname of the author (s), academic degree, exact address (postal code, telephone, fax and e-mail), the person in charge of the article and the date of submission in Persian And insert English. The author responsible for the correspondence must be marked with an asterisk. Mentioning the above details in other pages of the article should be avoided.

 2- If the financial expenses of the article are provided by an institution, the name of the institution should be included in the footnote of the first page.

 3- Second page (abstract): includes the full title of the article in Persian, Persian abstract of the article and keywords (at least 3 keywords). The Persian abstract of the article should not exceed 300 words and should summarize the introduction, research method, findings and conclusion. The English abstract must be on a separate page and must be up to 300 characters long.

4- From the third page onwards, the main text of the article will come.

 5- Resources page: Sources and references should be mentioned in the text and also at the end of the article.

 6- The first page, which is the author's profile, should be uploaded separately on the site.

 7- The citation method in the article should be in APA style and the cited sources should be mentioned in the text with the name ‌ surname, year of publication and page number in parentheses.

Such as: (Moshiri, 1380: 50). Or (Kachru, 1996: 35).

 For a source with two authors: (Yazdi, Ebrahimi, 1394: 18). Or (Rondinelli & Johnson, 2013: 6).

 For a source with more than two authors: (Moshiri et al., 2015: 12). Or (Richard et al, 2016: 754).

  8- In the method of presenting sources and references at the end of the article as:

References used at the end of the article should be arranged in alphabetical order of the author's last name (or the relevant organization if it does not have an author). If a multi-source author is used, the order of their presentation is in alphabetical order of the title and also the sources should not be numbered. The minimum sources used should not be less than 20 sources.

Books from 1 to three authors: Surname of the author or authors (date of publication). Book title. Place of publication: Publisher.

Example:

Books by more than three authors:

First author's surname, first author {... and others} (date of publication). Book title. Place of publication: Publisher.

About translated books:

Surname of the original author, name of the original author (date of publication). Book title, name and surname of the translator. Place of publication: Publisher.

Example:

Magazine articles

 Last name, first name (release date). Article title, journal name, publication period, page or pages used (for example: 25 or: 25-27)

Example:

Bajian, Gholamreza (1385). Economic comparison of nomadic migration and settlement in Bakan plain of Fars province, Iranian Rangeland and Desert Research Quarterly, Vol. 3: 248-264.

Articles of conferences and seminars

Surname of the author of the article, name (date of publication). Article title, full title of seminar or conference (for example, Proceedings of the 10th International Persian Gulf Congress, Islamic Azad University, Garmsar Branch). Pages used.

Theses:

Author surname, author name (history). Thesis title, Master Thesis or Doctorate in Political Geography, Faculty of Humanities, Islamic Azad University, Garmsar Branch.

Note:

If any of the above (books, articles, etc.) are extracted from a specific site, mention only the title of the site as a separate source. Instead, complete bibliographic information and articles should be provided, then the title of the website should be inserted.

Final conditions for article approval:

1- Submissions that meet the admission requirements will be sent to the reviewers of the journal on that topic. The reviewers of the journal, apart from the qualitative evaluation of the articles, suggest constructive strategies. The suggestions of the reviewers of the journal will be sent to the author of the article in full, but without the name and logo of the reviewer.

2-Articles submitted for correction, if the author does not receive a response on the specified date (maximum 14 days, which in cases will be increased at the request of the author) and also rejected or canceled articles, after three months from The archive of the magazine will be published and the magazine will not have any responsibility in this regard.

3- The journal reserves the right to reject or accept as well as edit the articles and the received articles will not be returned.

4- The responsibility of presenting the correct contents of the article rests with the author or authors of the article and is not necessarily the opinion or content of the magazine officials. Therefore, a copy of the ready-to-print article will be sent to the author's address (on the system) for final corrections. If no response is received from the authors within a week, it means that they agree with the amendments made and it will be published.

* Restrictions on submitting letters of acceptance of articles

* The names of the authors will be provided in the same order as they were entered in the system at the time of filing the article, at the time of final acceptance and publication of the article, and no change will be made in the order or number of authors.

* The minimum time required to review articles until the announcement of acceptance of the article is 6 months. Strictly avoid contacting the magazine office by phone and follow the status of your article only by sending an email.

* To submit an article, it is necessary for the author or authors to refer to the journal site and after registering and according to the instructions, to send their article.
