The Shahed Shahr town in Shahriar city has been expanded in various dimensions of physical, economic, and social aspects in recent years. Considering different aspects of urban sprawl and integrating the villages into the cities can be helpful to picture a more accurate perspective on the future physical development of the city. Therefore, the present study has analyzed the factors of urban sprawl and the effects of economic, socio-cultural and environmental- physical integration of rural settlements into Shahed Shahr from residents' point of view. The Data needed for this research has been collected by satellite images of T.M Landsat 5 in two periods of time, years 1996 and 2016, remote examining techniques and the completion of questionnaire.
