In the qualitative part, the in-depth interview technique was carried out with 17 local informants, officials and experts. In the quantitative section, the statistical population is all native residents over 18 years old in Asaluye region, which was selected as a sample of the statistical population by random proportional stratification sampling method and using Cochran's formula.

The most important findings of the research: the overall quality of life of the respondents has increased with an average of 3.34 after the oil industry entered the region. The average of social damages before the entry of the oil and gas industry was 1.71, but after the entry of the oil and gas industry in the region, it increased with an average of 3.62. The regression coefficient showed that before the entry of the oil industry, the quality of life can significantly explain the variance of the criterion variable, i.e., the state of social damage, to the extent of 20%.
