Investigating the development capabilities of Bojnourd tourism using leadership planning

Abstract

North Khorasan province welcomes a large number of tourists every year who choose to visit the northern road and after passing through the humid climate, they enter a province with a temperate and sometimes cool climate in summer.However, it seems that strategic planning has not been done to make better and more use of this opportunity and to attract tourists, and therefore the tourism potentials of the province, especially Bojnourd city, have not been relatively complete and desirable in the direction of tourism development.The main purpose of this study is to investigate the development capabilities of Bojnourd tourism from the perspective of management planning using the SWAT index. The main question of the dissertation is that considering the opportunities and threats as well as the strengths and weaknesses of Bojnourd in the tourism industry, what is the most appropriate strategy for planning the management of Bojnourd tourism development using the SWAT model? The results of this article show that the offensive strategy is the most appropriate strategy for tourism development in Bojnourd. Research method in this research is descriptive method and inferential statistics. Documentary, library and field studies were used to collect data and SWOT‌ model was used to analyze the findings.For this purpose, the internal environment (strengths and weaknesses) and external environment (opportunities and threats) of the region were studied and then the hierarchical analysis process was used to measure the weight of the measures.
