Abstract
With the expansion of the blockade and the passage of decades, the biodegradable tissues of the metropolis of Tehran have moved towards burnout and social anomalies. In some areas, the city of Tehran is facing this serious problem. Therefore, the researcher has carefully researched this issue by selecting Atabak neighborhood. One of the most important goals of the present study is to explain the approach of social effects of renovation of worn-out tissue in Atabak neighborhood of Tehran and awareness of the needs of residents of the study neighborhood. The research method is based on compiling a researcher-made questionnaire and reviewing previous studies. The researcher-made questionnaire assessed the socio-cultural and economic components by emphasizing all the influential factors in the 50 main items. The sample size was also selected using Cochran's formula and 377 citizens of the study area were selected for response. In order to collect data and information, library documents and field studies (distribution of questionnaires) have been used and data analysis has been done using SPSS19 software and single sample T-test, Pearson, the validity and reliability of the questionnaire has been done before. The Cronbach's alpha coefficient test was approved for all criteria. The results also indicate that there is a favorable and significant relationship between economic and social components, which can be strengthened to achieve the most important obstacles to achieving sustainable local development.
