Investigating the effect of geographical environmental factors on housing quality on environmental health of residents (Case study: District 6 of Shiraz)

Abstract

Today, people's habitat, both socially and physically, is an important determinant of health, and no successful intervention is possible to improve health and well-being without understanding the living environment. This study seeks to examine the quality of apartment housing and identify the factors that affect environmental health and improve and improve the quality of life of residents and reduce the maximum pollution of natural and artificial environment. The research method of this article is a combination (quantitative-qualitative) method and it is a correlational research and it is a practical research in terms of purpose. The data collection tool is a researcher-made questionnaire. After investigations, the APS residential complex on Ma'ali Abad Boulevard in Shiraz was identified by simple random sampling method. The confidence level was set at 95 percent, with a probability of error of 5 percent, and assuming that 50 percent of the population would respond in the same way, equal to 112, which increased to 115 for greater confidence. In the present study, in order to investigate the effect of housing quality on environmental health of residents, a questionnaire with 16 items in the form of Likert ranking and five degrees (from very agree to very disagree) to the items that by examining and recognizing the sub-factor The independent variable (housing quality) and the dependent variable (environmental health) were prepared.
