Optimal Tourism Location Using Swot Technique and Fuzzy Multi-criteria Decision Making (Case Study: Dawlatabad District, Darab County)

Rural tourism is part of the tourism industry, which can play a huge role in the development and development of rural areas. Therefore, it is necessary to identify the potential and potential of tourism as an effective step towards rural development and help to improve the rural economy. The present research is objective (applied) and in terms of collecting information (descriptive). The information gathering tool is a combination of library and fieldwork. The purpose of this research is to select the best place for rural tourism in Dowlatabad. For this purpose, we first studied the strengths and weaknesses of the region using SWOT technique. The results of technique of SWOT model show that the strengths of tourism in the district of Dowlatabad far more than its weaknesses and threats. This is evidence of the ability of Dowlatabad district to create a tourist sector. Then, using Fuzzy Multi-criteria Technique and the overlapping of information layers of optimal location of tourism in the study area have been identified. The results of this technique indicate that the best place for rural tourism is in the north and northwest of the district.
