One of the duties that municipalities are expected to see is the improvement of environmental indicators, including reducing air pollution, using clean energies, etc. for citizens. The main question of the research is whether the performance of the municipality in improving the environmental indicators in the city of Garmsar has been effective? The research method was descriptive-analytic that the statistical population of all people over 18 years old in Garmsar city. The sample size is estimated using the Cochran formula of 246 people. SPSS was used to analyze the data. The purpose of this research is to analyze the satisfaction of Garmsar citizens with municipal performance regarding environmental indicators. The results of this study, according to information analysis, indicate that the level of satisfaction with the performance of the municipality varies in different areas, so that the service area with an average of 2.64 is lower than the average (3); however, the ratio Has created more satisfaction for the citizens in other areas. Supervisory performance and urban development with a mean of 2.5 are in the second rank of satisfaction and the third rank with an average of 2.18 is related to social and cultural performance and, finally, the least satisfaction is related to the environmental domain with a mean of 2.15. In total, the difference is an average of 0.018. Accordingly, the satisfaction of Garmsar citizens in general with an average of 2.35% of the municipality's performance is at a low level
