Abstract
The present study aimed to investigate the criminology of intentional homicide in the cities of Ramhormoz and Baghmalek from 2013 to 2014. The research method of this study is quantitative in terms of purpose and survey in terms of its implementation style. The method of collecting field data and the tool of collecting questionnaires are. The statistical population includes 71 cases of intentional homicide and intentional homicide murderers in the cities of Baghmalek and Ramhormoz, which were selected based on a sample of 71 people convicted and accused of murder in the cities of Ramhormoz and Baghmalek, using the available sampling method, and the questionnaire was distributed among the individuals and they completed the researcher-made criminology questionnaire of intentional homicide. The hypotheses were examined using linear regression to measure the effect of independent variables on the dependent variable, and SPSS software was used to analyze the research data. The results of the study showed that social, economic, cultural and psychological factors significantly affect the rate and type of intentional homicides in Ramhormoz and Baghmalek counties. The results also showed that the attitude towards honor issues with a value of (Beta=0.282) and the poverty rate with a value of (Beta=0.212), as well as the level of education with a value of (Beta=0.245)
