Priotrizing the tourist attractions of Zanjan province in regional development using VIKOR and TOPSIS

Abstract
    Today, tourist activity is one of the economic activities in the world with economical, social, and cultural effects that has the highest revenue. It has a positive role in empowering the development of deprived regions. The aim of this research is priories the tourist regions in Zanjan province to make the ground for investment so that it can be suitable for region economy and better planning for development based on tourism in Zanjan. The research attempts to answer the question: which region of Zanjan province regarding tourism attraction has a better condition for investment and development of its infrastructure? The research type is applied and the method is descriptive analytic. Library and field methods (questionnaire, observation, and interview) are used to gather the data.The research findings show that the typical tourism regions are Soltanyeh dome, Tahem Dam and Katelekhor cave with the coefficient of %283, 0/136, and 0/118 respectively and they are in the 1st, 2nd and 3rd ranks. On the other hand, the typical tourism regions of Soltanyeh dome, Katelekhor cave, and Tahem dam have the coefficients of 0/0, 0/18/ and 0/49 respectively with the rank of 1, 2, and 3. They had the highest criteria by using TOPSIS and VIKOR models.
