Abstract
Abstract Rehabilitation and improvement of urban lanes, requires a comprehensive approach in relation to planning, management and design. The design role in is important and leading such that could provide more balanced lives in terms of resources and a more lively context of the spirit of space. In this respect three principles: environmental regulation in the framework of the principles of New Urbanism, according to walkability, and prioritize improvement and organization rather than widening and construction, can urban sustainability, improve the physical quality of streets and towns play an important role. This study is as applied research and data collection was conducted by field and library - documentation and Delphi technique. The results showed that the major business units concentration on the 13th street Aban Yasouj city in the center have led to heavy traffic, noise, visual and reduced vitality and quality of the urban environment. Land use varies from pedestrian to retail and enhance the environmental quality of urban street in the central part of the city of Yasouj.
