Abstract
Today, the global workplace is witnessing greater flexibility in work and life structures due to rapid globalization, rapid technological growth, increased participation of youth and women in the workforce, and increasing international migration. The purpose of the present study is to identify the components of decent work in cyberspace businesses. The present study is an applied research in terms of its purpose. In this study, the statistical population included experts and professors in the field of law and labor law. In this study, the sampling method was purposive, meaning that the samples contained rich information. Sampling was based on two strategies: criterion-based sampling and network or snowball sampling. The findings show that Iran's labor laws and regulations need fundamental changes to adapt to emerging jobs. Also, the practical suggestions provided can help improve fair labor relations. The comprehensive analysis shows that Iran's current labor law faces serious challenges in adapting to emerging jobs. The lack of a clear and up-to-date legal framework for these types of jobs has led to workers’ job insecurity, non-transparent contracts, and other related problems. The analysis of the current situation shows that Iran’s labor law has some essential components to adapt to emerging jobs, but it needs significant reforms and updates. Existing components include general definitions of the labor-employer relationship, minimum wage regulations, occupational health and safety regulations, and general dispute resolution mechanisms.
