Spatial Analysis of Regional Development of Ilam Province Based on Economic Indicators

Abstract
This research was conducted with the aim of analyzing and comparing the economic status of ten Townships of the province using 35 economic indicators based on the census data of 2015 using the VICOR model. The type of applied research and its investigation method is descriptive-analytical and the geographical scope of the research is the Townships of Ilam province..It has been collected For statistical calculations and data analysis, SPSS software and urban and regional planning models, including VIKOR and Entropy Shanon models, have been analyzed and the extent of the Townships ' benefits in terms of economic indicators of development has been determined. Geographical Information System (GIS) has also been used to prepare and draw maps. The findings of the research in order to rank the Townships using the Qi index of VICOR model show that the Townships of Ilam with values of Qi index, 0.00 are the highest and Badreh city are in the lowest economic status with the value of Qi index, 0.99. Also, the cities of Dehloran, Chardavel, Eyvan, Abdanan, Dare Shahr, Mehran, Malekshahi and Sirvan are ranked next. Then, in order to identify homogeneous Townships, classification was done in four levels, which are Ilam and Dehloran cities in the first level (rich), Cherdavel city in the second level (Semi-rich), Ivan, Abdanan and Dareh Shahr cities in the third level. (semi-deprived) and the Townships of Mehran, Malekshahi, Sirvan and Badre are on the fourth level (underprivileged).
