The theory of deterrence is one of the theories based on realism and realism in the international arena, which, after the Second World War, was largely theoretician of strategic issues after the Second World War and with the weakening of ideationalism. This theory of international relations was referred to as "power" as the main component explains the inter-state relations, while dismissing the "idealist" views, believes that the strength of governments has a direct impact on their national security. The present article, while analyzing the deterrence of the Islamic Republic of Iran and Israel, has been conducted by interviewing experts in foreign policy and military studies in the form of a questionnaire. It is attempting to assess the regional effects of deterrence of the two countries in the Western Asian region.
