According to the first principle of the constitution, "the government of Iran is the Islamic Republic", which has both divine legitimacy and popular acceptance, and according to the fifty-seventh principle, the ruling powers in the Islamic Republic are under the supervision of the Velayat. They are the absolute authority and Imamate of the Ummah. One of these powers is the executive power, the head of which is elected by the direct vote of the people and his ruling is signed and enforced by the jurist. This method of appointing the president, which is comprehensive of divine legitimacy and popular acceptance, is one of the characteristics of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and for this reason, it is necessary to explain it. For this purpose, in this research, the bases and evidences of presidential enforcement in Shia political thought are examined by descriptive and analytical method. Based on the findings of this research: 1. The wise God says about consultation with the people: "Consult them in the matter so that the intention is to trust in God." At the present time, except in special cases, consultation and public opinion and vote of the people are done with modern methods such as elections. According to this verse, the final decision and enforcement is in consultation with the Islamic ruler; Therefore, regarding the presidency, he can implement or reject the people's vote.
