English

this research aims to investigate the role and importance of creative tourism in forming a creative city and developing creative economic and cultural activities in Bandar Abbas. In terms of practical and developmental purposes, the current research is descriptive, analytical, and survey or field, depending on the data collection method. The statistical population of the research is 190 active centers in the field of tourism, which were selected based on the simple random sampling method, and using the Cochran formula, the sample size was 124 centers. The data collection tool was a questionnaire that was distributed among the selected sample. In order to determine the parameters of creative tourism that are effective in the development of the creative city in Bandar Abbas, the MAXQDA qualitative method was used. Also, the factor analysis method was used to identify essential components, and inferential statistics methods and models such as regression coefficients and analysis of variance were used to determine the relationship between components. The findings have shown that the creative economy index of tourism was determined as the most important factor in creative tourism (in other words, the factor driving the development of the creative city in Bandar Abbas). The social and security dimensions (tactical participation) were also identified as factors that need support, planning, and policy.
