Economics in a general perspective is the knowledge of how people and society select and employ scarce resources to produce various goods and services and distribute them among individuals and different groups of society for consumption. The purpose of this research is to examine the economic performance of the Prophet Muhammad during his blessed life in Medina. The research method used is the historical method and the method of collecting historical documents and resources using the library method. The method of data analysis is to compare and contrast them with each other. The economic components of the Prophet's rule in Medina include: promoting a culture of work and effort, explaining the rules of business, closely monitoring the market, removing the market from the yoke of Jewish domination and establishing an Islamic market, correcting the cycle of production, distribution and consumption, developing domestic products and encouraging trade and commerce, fighting the threats of hypocrites and domestic intruders, defending borders and establishing security in the region, developing exports and establishing relations with neighbors, correcting the lifestyle and lifestyle, trusting youth, creating jobs for immigrants, etc.
