English

The aim of the research is to achieve the principles of architectural design of child-centered educational spaces based on the components of a diverse and creative environment in first-year girls' schools in Tehran. The research method is a survey. The method of collecting information was carried out in the form of library studies and by studying articles related to spatial diversity, naturalism, creative environment, and child-centered educational space. Then, a field method with a closed questionnaire was used. The statistical population of the study consisted of 290 managers, teachers, and users of the first-year girls' schools selected for the study in Tehran, including Salam School (Region 4), Shahed School (Region 1), Sama School (Region 5), Saba School (Region 4), and Gam Aftab School (Region 5), who had been working in these schools for more than 5 years. They were selected using a random cluster sampling method and the sample size was determined using the Klein formula (2 to 5 people per questionnaire question). Data analysis was performed using the R factor analysis method, Pearson correlation test, and structural equations in Amos software. The findings showed that in the cycle of the diverse and creative environment of child-centered educational spaces, the components of spatial diversity, naturalism, and creative environment play a fundamental role. By combining these elements, child-centered educational spaces for girls in first-grade elementary schools in Tehran can become creative environments that maximize spatial diversity and enhance children's rich and multisensory experiences.
