Abstract
The concept and attitude toward the development has dramatically changed for the last couple of years. Sustainable development is a concept approved by many faculties and universities. Most of development programmers and policy makers, consider tourism as one of the most fundamental basis of sustainable development. Utilizing sustainable tourism and ecotourism industry need to provide beneficial conditions which are supposed to be obtained via comprehensive planning. Main objective of this research is to make appropriate strategies to develop sustainable ecotourism to the summit in Tehran, especially between Darakeh Village Resort to Tochal Peak, based on the theoretical framework of sustainable tourism development and ecotourism. First we try to recognize the potential of tourism development and sustainable ecotourism in Tehran, especially between Darakeh village Resort and Tochal Peak and then to make the research more practical Optimization strategies taking into account the influence of endogenous and exogenous factors will be presented. So the question arises that what the main strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats to the region are and what the most appropriate strategy for tourism development, especially sustainable tourism is the region are.
