Abstract
Nowadays, urban landscape under the effects of visual distortions and disturbances assigned an unfavorable image which has led this research to investigate the role of beautification in improving the quality of urban landscape with the aim of analyzing the relationship between the urban landscape and high-rise buildings at Elgoli boulevard of Tabriz within 45 meters width to increase the visual quality of the urban landscape of the study area between Elgoli entrance and Khayyam square.
The research method is mainly descriptive, analytical and field studies. The most important part of research which examines its findings is based on the field studies, shooting and observational data of the study area in Elgoli street by using a questionnaire, expert and library analysis of the field observations on both sides of the street.
The statistical consists of expert administrators of this field, professors and students of architecture and citizens including tradespeople, residents and passers-by whitin the scope of the study.
Data analysis is done through the SPSS software. Also by consideration to the Cronbach Alpha coefficient of the objective and subjective quality of the questionaire which is 0.697 and 0.613 respectively, the reliability of the both mentioned parts are acceptable.
The research results indicates that in the objective quality evaluation, all of the three proposed groups are administrators, citizens, experts and specialists respectively which are the most un-satisfied groups regrding the current situation. While in the subjective quality assessment the order of importance for the mentioned groups is: citizens, administrators, experts and specialists.
