In today's competitive world where cities seek to take advantage of their competitive advantages to overtake other cities, the development of the tourism industry can rely on the natural and human potential of cities to differentiate these human spaces from other settlements. Therefore, the present study has been conducted with the aim of examining and measuring the performance of the landscape and natural structure of the city in tourist cities and on a case-by-case basis. The present research is applied research in terms of purpose and descriptive-survey and inferential in terms of nature and method of work. The statistical population of the study is all citizens over 20 years of age in Chalous neighborhoods. The sampling method in this study is randomly from the city and tourists to 484 samples (based on Cochran's formula). To determine the reliability of the questionnaire from Cronbach's alpha (0.734) In order to analyze the data, a questionnaire was used and its analysis was performed in SPSS and tests such as mean, one-sample t-test and Pearson correlation were used, as well as AHP hierarchical analysis. The results of the research indicate that in Chalous city, the natural structure index of the city has a positive T value and is at a significant level less than 0.05 and as a result its status is more than average. Also, the indicators of information boards Supply, green space, lighting, have a negative T-statistic and are at a significance level of less than 0.05. As a result, their condition is less than average. In addition, the indicators of topography, geometry of buildings, streets and crosswalks, building facades, urban furniture, building materials, are at a significant level of more than 0.05. As a result, their situation is moderate. A general assessment of the indicators of landscape and natural structure in attracting and retaining tourists in the city of Chalous also indicates that neighborhood 10 with an average total weight (3.70), in the best conditions and neighborhood 5 With an average total weight (2.65) in the weakest conditions. Other neighborhoods in order of priority are coastal neighborhood with average weight (3.44), neighborhood 12 with (3.28), neighborhood 3 with (3.15), neighborhood 4 with (3.14), neighborhood 2 with (2.98), neighborhood 9 with average weight (2.97), Central neighborhood with (2.90), neighborhood 8 with (2.81), neighborhood 7 with average total weight (2.72), neighborhood 6 with (2.68) and neighborhood 1 with average total weight (2.66), are in the next ranks. have.
