The south of Iran and the southern coasts of Iran, which are separated from the central plateau by mountain ranges, are located in hot and humid climates. In these areas, the difference between the temperature of the land surface and the sea level causes sea and land breezes; But these types of winds are limited to the narrow coastal strip, and the air indoors is calm and the wind speed - if any, is very low. In fact, the purpose of this study was to identify the effective design criteria in hot and humid climates with emphasis on the climate of Sistan and Baluchestan. In this research, an application-development method has been used to achieve the goals. One of the climatic characteristics of this coast is the amount of very little annual rainfall, most of which is in autumn and especially in winter. Very hot and humid weather in summer and mild in winter, very high humidity in all seasons, as well as low temperature differences between night and day, salinity of groundwater in most areas and very little vegetation are other characteristics of these areas. . In today's world, despite new technologies, construction does not have the problems and limitations of the past, and it is possible to build a building for almost any taste. What is important is to create buildings that, in addition to adapting to modern technology, conform to the indigenous architecture of each region and lead our architecture to sustainability through energy savings.
