In recent years, one of the main problems of our country is the backwardness of villages and the migration of villagers to urban areas. The main reason is economic issues, especially access to employment, which has caused many problems such as marginalization, reduced quality of life and lack of employment in cities. Paying attention to rural entrepreneurship with a view to the problems in these areas is very important. The aim of this study was to analyze the capacity of entrepreneurship development in the rural area of Chandar section of Savojbolagh city of Alborz province. The research method is descriptive-analytical and the method of data collection is library and field. Factor analysis with principal component analysis method has been used for data analysis. The statistical population of the study included the residents of the villages of Chandar district (literate and aged between 15 and 65). A total of 400 villagers were randomly selected and among them questionnaires with 5 indicators in personal, infrastructure, economic, social and institutional fields and 35 items were distributed. Findings show that the situation of entrepreneurship components in the studied rural areas is slightly higher than the average. The most suitable conditions can be observed in the infrastructure and individual dimensions and then in the economic, social and institutional components, respectively. The results obtained from the analysis of factors show that in the studied villages, infrastructural and individual components of entrepreneurship are provided, but economic components, especially social and institutional, are not available. Although the necessary infrastructure is provided in the studied villages, but this infrastructure alone can not promote other components of entrepreneurship, but it can be used as a platform for other components to flourish and develop rural entrepreneurship. However, it should be noted that not all villages have the same status in the development of entrepreneurship and some of them have better conditions for entrepreneurship and in this regard, are a priority for entrepreneurial activities.
