The city is a space for use by all classes of society. Lack of security feeling among community women leads to Decrease their presence and reduce urban vitality. the purposes of this thesis is to evaluate the factors affecting the women's sense of security in urban spaces in Tabriz . The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between the underlying variables including age, education, family members, place of birth and independent variables including the existence of defensible spaces, accessibility of the urban environment and the role of urban management in increasing the sense of security of women. The sample was analyzed from the women living in Tabriz's two regions by responding to the questionnaires and the results were analyzed by SPSS statistical software. The results of the research show that Among the underlying variables, age, education, and women birth place there is not meaningful relationship with increasing sense of security and Feeling of security in women does not change by increase or decrease of age or education or urban or rural being, but there is negative significant relation between family members and feel of safe in women. Its mean, increasing the number of family members decrease the sense of women's Insecurity and increases their fears of urban spaces. There is a significant relationship between creating defensible spaces in the city , urban environmental access and increasing the environmental security of women .
